Winter Climbing. ‘Instruction and guiding on snow, ice and buttresses’.

Whether you would like to climb grade 1 or 5 we will design a course around your ambitions. You will be instructed on terrain suitable to your experience. We will instruct you in  belaying, climbing and descent methods, route choice and a whole lot more. These are instructional courses not purely guided experiences, if you require pure guided trips please contact us to discuss your requirements.

The courses are staffed by MIC'S or Alpine Guides, all are instructional staff are hand picked for their abilities and experience on such terrain, their infectious enthusiasm will have you hooked on winter climbing forever.

As with all winter days no one is ever the same so it could be the exploration of Broad Gully, grade 1 in Glencoe, the classic Tower Ridge on Ben Nevis, grade 111 / 4 or the majestic line of Point Five, grade 5. or remoter quieter climbs elsewhere!

What ever you do, winter climbing is a tremendous experience and thrill; and with the basics under your belt you will be able to go onto explore more of the Uk's famous routes with an excellent grounding in the skills required.
